Nestled within the prestigious Country Club of the South in Johns Creek, this home underwent a complete transformation — taken room by room from the kitchen and four bathrooms through to the floors, fireplaces and exterior openings.
The kitchen was opened up, with a wall removed and reframed and dated soffits taken out, then rebuilt around custom maple paint-grade cabinetry with soft-close hardware, a stained white oak island and a full tile backsplash.
The primary bath was taken back to the studs. Electric in-floor heat runs beneath 260 square feet of tile, with a mudbed shower floor, fully tiled walls, a knee wall and an extra-tall niche. A freestanding tub anchors the room, and both vanities were relocated to open up the layout beneath the vaulted ceiling. A custom walk-in closet completes the suite.
Three further bathrooms — closet, guest and office — each received tiled showers over waterproofed backer board, built-in niches, new vanities and new tile floors, with a powder room in custom maple cabinetry completing the set.
Nearly 1,800 square feet of existing oak flooring was sanded and refinished in a satin commercial-grade finish, while three carpeted bedrooms gained 860 square feet of new white oak. The staircase was reimagined with custom balusters, and its treads refinished to match.
Three fireplaces were rebuilt — the primary bedroom refaced in tile to a new wood mantle, with the keeping room and family room reworked alongside. Built-ins were removed, the archway reframed, interior doorways opened taller, and the entire main level repainted.
A reconfigured laundry with stacked appliances and expanded storage, a new drop zone and pantry, and structural work carrying through to the exterior: brick cut and toothed back in around new door and window openings, a header added to support the vaulted primary bedroom, and the entry to the dining room widened.
